
Eli Ring
Eli Ring (b. 1956) began writing fiction about ten years ago. He started taking it more seriously when his daughter introduced him to NaNoWriMo in 2014. He has since written three first-draft novels and has finally published one — “Trail to Peril“.
Eli is a native of central Illinois. After graduating from high school and a stint in the US Army, he moved to Oregon, where he has lived for 43 years.
He graduated from Portland State University and has an MBA. Eli was a CPA and worked in public accounting as a tax accountant and auditor for over thirty years.
Some of his favorite authors include John Sanford, James Lee Burke, Elmore Leonard, and Jim Butcher.
He spends his time writing, reading, orienteering, and backpacking in the Pacific Northwest with his wife, Anna. They have four exceptional adult children.
